Tokyo's Harajuku Sunday Cosplay
Every Sunday near Harajuku station in Tokyo Japan crowds gather dressed up in what the Japanese have dubbed "Cosplay." That is dressing up in fanciful costumes based on popular anime, manga or movie heroes.
Here we have a photo taken recently of a young girl dress up in all white, red shoes and a bright pink wig. This is the classic "Innocent" side of the Gothic Lolita Fashion.
I rather like this photograph, it seems to portray the seeming innocence that the Japanese often wear as outsiders look on. But as we can clearly see this is just a costume and is easily removed. Such as symbolic as the classic Japanese practice to wear personalities in certain company and change these personalities just as easily as this girl removing her costume.
